Join local historian Stephen Humphrey who will introduce his book Elephant and Castle: A History and talk about the area's rich and fascinating history.
From 3.30pm, there will also be a display of photographs of Elephant & Castle and Walworth from Southwark's Local History Library and archive, and a chance to suggest ideas for the names of the streets, blocks and open spaces on Elephant Park.
