New Cancer Centre at Guy's: Drop-in event

Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust are building a new Cancer Centre at Guy's Hospital.

To find out more, come along to this drop-in event to meet the project team, staff from building contractors Laing O'Rourke, Cancer Centre Appeal team and King's Health Partners who will share their five year plan and the outcomes books for the Clinical Academic Groups (CAGs).

There will be a radiotherapy simulator set up with staff on hand to talk through its functionality.

The location of the radiotherapy treatment will be on the 2nd floor of the new Cancer Centre rather than in the basement following patient feedback – the only centre in the UK to do so.

Dr Cheryl Gillett will be discussing the benefits and importance of the Bio Bank that will be in the new Cancer Centre.
