The London Cycling Campaign presents the 13th Christmas Day Ride, following a tradition started in 2002 by the late Barry Mason.
Meet at 10am at Cutty Sark Gardens in Greenwich or 11am at the Southwark Needle.
From London Bridge the route will include a loop round Southwark to take in locations association with Charles Dickens, including the site of the Marshalsea Prison and the various local streets named after Dickens characters.
The ride will cross Southwark Bridge and pass St Paul's Cathedral before meandering through Clekenwell and Covent Garden en route to the Royal Parks, ending in Edgware Road for a meal in a Lebanese restaurant.
Previous rides have attracted more than 100 riders of all ages and backgrounds.
Those wishing to come on the ride are asked to bring warm clothing, water, snacks, lights, basic tools and a spare inner tube in case you have a puncture (particularly important for this ride as there will no public transport on Christmas Day).
