Walk back through London's riverside history from boat builders, boat breakers, prisons and potteries and discover its transformation through post war office developments to 21st century penthouse domination.
The Thames is the backdrop, a natural, raging phenomenon held in check by Victorian engineering but occasionally bursting into the surrounding streets, homes and businesses.
The walk will cross just Two Bridges but will see the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Palace of Westminster, a high street with no shops and a plague pit - but remember you will never be alone and are surrounded by spies.
Part of Walk London's Winter Wanders weekend.
