The Save Lambeth Libraries Campaign is urging people to come to Waterloo Library on Saturday afternoon and borrow their full allowance of 15 books in a bid to empty the shelves.
You can sign up for a library card on the day - just bring proof of address (you do not need to live in Lambeth to join the library).
There will be storytelling and face painting for children.
