Now 50-strong, BMC started out in 2011 with only a handful of singers, most of them traders in Borough Market, with a first performance on stage at Shakespeare's Globe.
The choir has since opened up to the public and it now counts among its members, ranging in age from early 20s to late 60s, people of 10 different nationalities, from a vast array of professional backgrounds (including a brewer, a book binder and a biomechanical engineer.
All proceeds from the concert go to local charities: The Dragon Cafe and Evelina London Children's Hospital Music Therapy Centre.
