Pancake Day Race

15 teams from local businesses in Bankside will compete for the coveted trophy.

Residents, passers-by and pancake enthusiasts are encouraged to come down and show their support while the teams do their best not to fall flat while racing up and down in a fast and furious pancake flipping relay in the Market's Jubilee Place.

Traders will be on hand to offer pancakes for consumption, not flipping.

Funds raised from the event will go to local charity Paintings in Hospitals, with collection boxes available should anyone wish to make a donation.
