Open Day

Open to all local parents/carers and children.

An opportunity to meet the family & children's centre staff and find out more about the planned facilities and programmes for families at the new Coin Street neighbourhood centre (opening in September).

Story telling workshops will take place during the day with dressing up and complementary activities in the nursery.

Display and information about the new foundation stage curriculum (birth - 5 years).

Opportunity for children and parents to make healthy snacks from the children's centre menu.

Outdoor games and activities, weather dependent.

Coin Street's outreach manager Lynn Soussi will be able to come to talk about the parenting programmes (12 noon-3.30pm) and Harj Niddar, Coin Street's signposting advice and guidance officer, will be available to offer advice to parents/carers about access to training and employment (3pm-4.30pm).
