Local historian Jennie Howells will be talking about the special history of West Bermondsey, some that is lost and some that remains, including Bermondsey Abbey and the leather industry.
Also a chance to hear about what the West Bermondsey Community Forum has been doing over the last year, find out about its plans for the coming year and discuss options for the Forum when the current funding runs out in March 2008.
Light refreshments will be available after the meeting.
