Blackfriars Sinfonia Diamond Anniversary Concert

Blackfriars Sinfonia invites former London Electricity Board employees and the local community to their diamond anniversary concert.

Blackfriars Sinfonia was originally the orchestra of the London Electricity Sports and Social Association.

The concert programme features Mozart's 21st Piano Concerto, performed at the orchestra's last concert as LESSA Orchestra in 1980. We will also be playing von Suppe's overture "Pique Dame", Schubert's Third Symphony and a concerto written by one of the orchestra's longstanding members, David Jones.
