Lambeth's Links with Pharmacy

Delve in to Lambeth's past and discover some interesting links between pharmacy, medicine and our local area.

From large, beautifully decorated Royal Doulton water filters to tiny Singletons eye ointment pots. From the famous Lambeth delftware potteries making drug jars from the 1680s to Stiff's pottery producing leech jars in the 1800s.

All of these were once within a stone's throw of where the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain stands today, and help tell the story of the history of pharmacy and the development of medicine over time.
