Special 'Pride of Place' meeting with Southwark Council chief executive Annie Shepperd.

Annie spent 9 June visiting Borough and Bankside talking to people who live and work here.

She met the vice-chancellor of London South Bank University, met residents on the Rockingham Estate and enjoyed a lunch cooked by the Bengali Women's Group.

Later Annie looked at some of the projects run at the Blackfriars Settlement. She also met members of the Bankside Residents' Forum and visited a local nursery.
