World Wide Knit in Public Day I Knit London Treasure Hunt

I Knit London will be celebrating WWKIP Day by inviting knitters (and their non-knitting friends) to take part in a knitty treasure hunt - they'l be sending you off to wander the streets of central London, following fiendish cryptic clues, dressing up statues, hunting celebrities, shepherding and knitting at some of London's most famous landmarks...

You need a team of 2 to 4 people, a pair of comfy shoes, a knitted garment per team (eg hat, scarf, shawl, jumper, gloves), a brolly in case of rain, a digital camera or cameraphone, a pair of 4mm needles and some random DK yarn...

There are prizes and a party back at IKL afterwards.
