A scheme to revamp Jubilee Gardens on the South Bank was approved in 2006 but couldn't be implemented due to financial and legal problems.

Also on the agenda - The car park next to Jubilee Gardens has been zoned since 1977 for an extension of Jubilee Gardens.
Landowners the Southbank Centre have supported a film centre at this riverside location... but with funding for this option withdrawn, is the way now clear for finally getting some real open space?
