Shoppers will be free to browse the Museum's extensive collection of garden-inspired gifts while sipping on a glass of mulled wine.
All purchases on the night will receive a 20 percent discount at the till.
There will be an opportunity to enjoy dinner cooked by resident chef Skye Bond in the Garden Cafe (dinner must be pre-booked) and a rare chance to view the Museum's latest exhibition, The Good Life: 100 Years of Grow Your Own, for free.
Musical entertainment will be provided by jazz musician Esben Tjalve and friends.
The shop stocks a green-fingered gift to suit every age and taste including gardening books, seeds, tools, cards and traditional tree decorations.
This year the Museum has produced its own Allotment Year Journal to tie-in with its current exhibition: The Good Life: 100 Years of Growing Your Own. Full of wonderful images from the show, the journal allows one to record allotment plans, stock rotations and seed sowing schedules. Split by month it can be enjoyed for years to come.
Priced at £10 it's the perfect stocking filler for anyone keen on growing their own.
Once the shopping is complete visitors can make their way to the Garden Café for a wonderful candlelit dinner of Braised shoulder of lamb in spiced wine or pumpkin and cannellini with tomato, rosemary and home-made goat's cheese accompanied by home-made bread and butter freshly churned at the Museum followed by mince pies. Priced at £10 per head dinner must be pre-booked by contacting the Museum on 020 7401 8865 ext *828.
