The Jubilee area of the market will host a day-long celebration of Scottish food and drink, including cookery demonstrations, tasting sessions, traditional Scottish dancing, and a pipe band.
Graham Harvey and Sheila McConachie, owners of Craggan Mill Restaurant and authors of 'The Whisky Kitchen', will be conducting cookery demonstrations and tasting sessions, featuring haggis, Scottish whiskies, Scottish cheeses and other favourites.
The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society London Branch will perform a range of country and highland dances, accompanied by the Alba Pipe Band, and The Vice President of the Burns Club of London will address the haggis.
Market traders will offer a range of delicious produce, including haggis, Arbroath Smokies and other smoked seafood, oatcakes and porridge, marmalades and jams, plus Scottish cheeses: Crowdie Cream Cheese, Strathdown Blue, Seator Orkney and Isle of Mull Cheddar – and of course, Arran Victory Potatoes for traditional neeps and tatties.
Maria's Market Cafe will be offering a Scottish take on her world-famous Bubble and Squeak.
