War to Windrush Walk

This walk around Elephant & Castle links the Imperial War Museum with the Cuming Museum.

This walk illustrates the black history of more than 200 years in the SE1 area, covering gentrification,
Oswald Mosley, black soldiers of the 1700s, Windrush, black Shakespearean actors, African architecture, the Fisk Jubilee Singers, the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry, the Partner System and more.
