The Old Vic theatre is looking for enthusiastic and passionate people from all backgrounds to take part in its new community project called PLATFORM.
The project will culminate in the production of a brand new play featuring over fifty members of the local community at the end of the year.
The play will be performed in The Old Vic Tunnels in Leake Street.
The new play will be inspired by the people who live and work in the area and The Old Vic is aiming to capture a snapshot of life in London 2010.
To do this they are holding a series of research and recruitment events under the PLATFORM banner.
Each event will feature discussion, creative responses and a chance to find out more about the project.
All the material from these sessions will then be given to a team of writers who will then take inspiration from the stories and characters that emerge from these events.
Auditions for the production will be held in August but you can be involved now and contribute to the final piece.
