This event will be focused on the theme of employability, training and skills development.
The event features many of the useful support and training agencies operating in the Bermondsey area, as well as some genuine job vacancies.
This is an opportunity to find out how the council is encouraging employment in the area, what jobs and apprenticeships are available and to tell councillors what residents really want from their community council.
Attendees will include Building Contractors, St Giles Trust, Red Kite Learning, Lewisham College, JobcentrePlus, BOSCO, Southwark Youth Support, Armed Forces Recruitment, Southwark Works, Springboard, and the Volunteer Centre, and more.
The main meeting at 7pm includes a presentation by Cllr Richard Livingstone, cabinet member for finance and resources, on 'A Fairer Future for All in Southwark'.
There will be a presentation on Southwark's environmental active citizens scheme, StreetLeaders, and an update on Burgess Park.
