Property Surveyor

£55,000-£59,000 per annum

Permanent, 35 hours per week.

About this role

We’re currently looking for a qualified surveyor who will ensure that our properties, including one of London’s landmarks, the Oxo Tower, is properly maintained and to advise on building and property matters. You will ensure that financial decisions on property and building matters are informed and that any risks are anticipated and controlled.

The role is busy and varied and requires someone who is professional and confident with a can-do attitude. They must have the ability to multi-task, work to tight deadlines and have an eye for detail and accuracy. You will be professionally qualified (ideally Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) and have experience in the surveying environment in commercial and in housing maintenance and in managing a multi-use portfolio of housing or building stock.

As a social enterprise income we generate stays in the neighbourhood. It’s used to improve and maintain our site which includes Bernie Spain Gardens and the riverside walkway, and to provide a range of free and affordable programmes and activities for families, children, young people, adults and older people in Waterloo and North Southwark.
