Salary - £31,000-£34,000 pa

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and efficient administrator to support the Artistic
Director. In this role you will coordinate the timetable and scheduling of learning and
teaching, and other artistic programming including supporting our student touring
company Ballet Central.

Central School of Ballet has an international reputation for delivering a ballet focused
degree course - a BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Performance, training
students for careers in classical ballet, contemporary dance and musical and dance
theatre. Central School of Ballet is committed to addressing issues of under representation in ballet and Higher Education.

Personal Specification

Essential
• Excellent planning and administrative skills evidenced in previous work experience, preferably in
an educational/arts setting
• Understanding of the operational management of theatre productions or comparable activity
• Ability to work flexibly within a team, as well as taking sole responsibility for the delivery of key
projects
• Understanding and commitment to working with students in a Higher Education context.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent IT skills – Word, Excel and Access database
• Attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve
• A commitment to working to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion

Desirable
• Experience of scheduling/timetabling
• Knowledge of tour planning
• Staff management experience
