Event Stewards' Supervisors

Applications are invited for two new positions as Event Stewards' Supervisors to lead our front of house team at special services, concerts and events at Southwark Cathedral.

You will be responsible for assembling a team for events and services, supervision of that team before, during and after the event, and, in conjunction with the Duty Verger, ensuring the health and safety of those attending.

You will work on a casual basis according to availability with no guarantee of minimum hours. A period of duty is normally between 3 and 5 hours in length.

The successful applicant will be in sympathy with the aims and objectives of the Anglican Church, have excellent customer skills and experience in leading a team, be able to use initiative and capable of handling large numbers of people with care and sensitivity.
