Fixed term contract, three days a week for 13 weeks from June 7th 2010

About this role

The Events Academy Project is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme and is an innovative work experience project, offering young people in SE1 the opportunity to engage with businesses in their area.

The project manager role will involve working very closely with a small group of young people, arranging training sessions for them with local businesses and general oversight of the project.

Person description

We are looking for someone with solid experience working with young people and an understanding of their needs in relation to careers guidance.

The successful applicant will be a strong project manager, able to deliver on time and keep a project to budget.

Experience of CSR and the needs of businesses within this agenda would also be helpful.

About Better Bankside

Better Bankside is a business improvement district (BID) working with businesses and the local community in Bankside. A BID is an independent, business-owned and led company which seeks to improve a given location for commercial activity.
