About this role

Southwark Circle is now looking for enthusiastic and dedicated 'Hosts' of all ages to help run the social events that happen amongst its members every week, usually in or around Southwark. It's a great way to make a positive contribution to your local area and get to know people who live near you.

You will be playing an important role in the member exerience, and in return for your time and commitment, you'll get your ticket or entry for free for any events that you host. You'll also enjoy the benefits of being part of the
Southwark Circle community, like discounts with local businesses, and access to a free phone number for local recommendations.

You could be hosting events like trips to the cinema, the theatre or a museum;having a tasty meal or a picnic in the park or helping to run a book club in somebody's front room. We ask our Hosts to commit to a minimum of one event per month, and we'll always try to match your interests to the events.

About Southwark Circle

Southwark Circle is an exciting new membership organization that connects its members to Helpers, local handy people who provide practical help,and also connects its members to each other through a social calendar. All members are over the age of 50, but the Southwark circle community is made up of people ranging from the age of 18 to 98.
