Part-time live-in carer

Carer / general helper wanted for woman in her 60s with longstanding MS.

This is a part-time job in exchange for free accommodation in a studio room in a modern flat in Borough.

It involves predominantly personal care, and also meal preparation, secretarial work and driving, with occasional travel.

This means general help with anything I would do myself if I were able-bodied.

You will need to be committed to helping me for one hour first thing in the morning and for half an hour at bedtime.

In addition, you will need to commit to being available "on call" afternoons and evenings to do these tasks.

Within those times the hours and work are variable.

Pay negotiable but in the region of £200 per week, plus accommodation with wifi access and utility bills.

Time off negotiable.

You will need to be willing, imaginative, cheerful, enterprising, adaptable, practical, non-smoking, and preferably experienced in working with people with physical disabilities.

Might suit someone with an already existing part-time home-based occupation.
