Admin/Customer Service Asst

We are looking for an energetic and lively admin assistant who will also look after our Customer Services help line. You'll be a key part of the team, responsible for answering the phones when other executives are out of the office, dealing with orders and enquiries from our Distributors across Europe, helping the Finance Controller with data entry and financial administration as required, helping the Design Director with production schedules and order management, and generally getting stuck in to daily events as they occur. Should be exciting!
You will also be responsible for Customer Service. We are just about to launch our e-commerce website so customers can buy Hot Tuna direct on line. If they have any queries about our website or about their order, or if they want to return an item, they’ll call you and you’ll sort them out. Don’t worry though, you’ll be fully trained and well supported by your colleagues to make sure the customer's experience is the best it can be.

Skills and interests: To be a good Admin/Customer Services Assistant, you must:

•be polite, tactful and friendly
•be numerate, lively and quick-thinking
•be patient and calm
•be able to handle complaints and difficult situations
•be proficient on Word and Exel
•be keen to learn new tricks
Qualifications and/or experience: You will need a good general educational background, at least two to four GCSEs (A-C) including English and maths. All round work experience in an office environment will be a plus. But most important of all you need to be willing to help, keen to learn and looking to have fun at work as part of a creative little group. You’ll be supervised and mentored by the financial controller, who will also be brand new to the company, so will do everything possible to help you to help your colleagues and customers and make Hot Tuna a successful and fun place to be!
