This is a chance to use your planning and prioritising skills in a rewarding role where you'll be making a real difference to the lives of local people.
We need a well-organised person to process new, renewal and replacement applications for Blue Badge and Freedom Passes. As well as assessing claims quickly and efficiently, we'll expect you to keep up-to-date with relevant legislation, achieve performance targets and come up with your own ideas for improving the way we work.
To be up to the task, you'll need a good knowledge of the Blue Badge Scheme and national parking concessions for people with severe walking difficulties and related best practice. Strong negotiation, communication and relationship building skills, a good level of IT literacy and the ability to interpret and apply written guidelines will be essential.
