The CareTrade Employment Opportunities Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Employment Opportunities pilot project based at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
The main aim of project is to support work experience placements both within the hospital and local businesses and to assist the students in finding paid employment. There will also be up to two supported Apprenticeship placements within this project.
The successful candidate will have experience of employment issues for people with disabilities, knowledge of assessment procedures in respect of skills and needs of people with disabilities, the ability to empathise and advocate for the needs of people with learning difficulties and be able to enable, empower and motivate others to meet their maximum potential.
CareTrade is a young London based charity with a mission to transform the life chances of school leavers and young adults with autism by creating innovative and inspirational work experience and apprenticeships to increase employment opportunities and developing live/work solutions and services that meet the needs of individuals and employers.
