The Job Coach will support the Project Manager in delivering the Autism Project@GSTT (Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust).
The main aims of the Job Coach role are to support students and managers in work experience placements within the hospital and to assist the students in finding paid employment both in the classroom and in 1:1 sessions throughout the year.
The successful candidate will have experience of employment issues for people with disabilities, knowledge of assessment procedures in respect of skills and needs of people with disabilities, the ability to empathise and advocate for the needs of people with learning difficulties and be able to enable, empower and motivate others to meet their maximum potential.
