About this role

The Autism Project@GSTT Tutor will support and develop the classroom based training programme for students with a diagnosis of autism spectrum condition. The main aim of project is to support and find work placements within Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and to build skills to assist the students in finding paid employment.

Person description

The successful candidate will have experience of employment issues for people with disabilities, knowledge of assessment procedures in respect of skills and needs of people with disabilities, the ability to empathise and advocate for the needs of people with learning difficulties and be able to enable, empower and motivate others to meet their maximum potential.
