About this role

The postholder will lead Vauxhall One's 'Together' programme. This provides opportunities for Vauxhall businesses, charities and the local community to develop long term relationships and relevant projects.

Person description

University degree to minimum 2.2 standard or or equivalent
Relevant degree preferred
Knowledge of the Vauxhall area
Understanding of Business Improvement Districts
Experience of delivering a Corporate Social Responsibility programme or engaging with businesses on community/sustainability issues
Experience of working within a corporate business environment
Well organised and able to work independently
Highly numerate
High level of IT skills, using a variety of software packages
Credible and persuasive in a business environment
Good communications skills, including the ability to write and speak clearly

About Vauxhall One

Vauxhall One is the 27th Business Improvement District (BID) in London. It was approved at ballot on 24 February 2012 and will operate for five years before requiring renewal through a further ballot. Its 200 or so member businesses generate around £720,000 pa through the BID levy and actively seek further funding from other sources.
