Futures Theatre Company, Southbank Mosaics and Southbank Sinfonia are working in partnership to deliver a multi-arts project celebrating the life of William Blake in Lambeth.

The project currently has a 17 month vacancy for a Project Director working from the partners’ Waterloo based offices.

A unique opportunity has developed for a Project Director to work with the partner organisations and Heritage Lottery to deliver the William Blake Heritage Project leading up to a Blake festival in November 2008.

We are looking for an individual who has excellent project management skills and who has experience of running similar events.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of delivering projects on time and within budget and have a sound knowledge of event management and a good track record in fundraising through a variety of funding streams. They will welcome the opportunity to work with others taking responsibility and initiative to complete their work. They will possess good marketing skills and be able to deliver an education programme.

The individual will need to be highly motivated and work well with others. Integral to the role is the ability to liaise with a wide range of people and organisations in a patient and diplomatic manner and where excellent communication skills are essential.

Remuneration for this post will depend upon the knowledge and experience of the successful candidate and where the expected salary range is up to £250 per day (freelance).
