Volunteers needed for a Peer Support volunteer program. The role is to support elders who are former victims of elder abuse and would benefit from a Peer Volunteer or Volunteer to visit and support isolated older people in Lambeth, Southwark, and Croydon.
Some of the roles are office based in our Streatham office including Admin and Volunteer Telephone helpline response.
The others are based near to our clients, based in Lambeth and Southwark

2. Telephone Peer Support Volunteers
3. Telephone Helpline Response Volunteers
4. Volunteer Administrators

There are several exciting opportunities to join Action on Elder abuse Prevention service called Peer Support Volunteer program. The program supports older people who are former victims of elder abuse, such as financial abuse or isolation. Our older vulnerable clients benefit from small acts of kindness. This may take the form of a friendly chat from a you! Volunteers make contact by phone or in person to support vulnerable older people in Lambeth, Southwark, and Croydon.
