Charity Trustee

We are an independent grantmaking foundation established in the 17th century and operating exclusively in Lambeth. We fund activity which helps improve the future prospects of those on the lowest incomes. Our aim is to break cycles of deprivation and to tackle poverty by creating opportunity through education, training and employment. Over the last ten years we have spent more than £17 million, awarding 1,821 grants to organisations and schools and 3,200 grants to individuals. We seek to appoint up to 4 new Governors by Spring 2016. Candidates should be relatively local to Lambeth (e.g. adjoining boroughs) and established in their career or vocation.
