About this role

We are seeking a proactive and committed supervisor to provide a high level of service for all meeting/conference facilities clients and delegates on a daily basis. This role is the main point of contact for all commercial events within the Coin Street neighbourhood centre and will be required to respond quickly in resolving last minute changes to customers’ requirements.

As well as liaising with event organisers, you will also ensure all meeting and syndicate rooms are correctly equipped and maintained to a high standard. You will be a natural communicator adept at dealing with a wide range of customer interactions and will enjoy responding to on-the-spot challenges and problem solving.

Due to heavy manual handling, you will be physically fit and able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and on occasions at weekends.

The annual leave allowance is 5 weeks plus statutory bank holidays. For this role annual leave is required to be taken around quiet periods in the event calendar with a minimum of 2 weeks in August, 1 week during the Easter school holidays and 1 week during the Christmas school holidays.
