About this role

The Canada Water Consultative Forum (CWCF) is seeking to recruit a Co-ordinator to provide support to the stakeholders of the CWCF- to actively engage local residents in development and regeneration proposals for the Canada Water area in Southwark. The post holder will also promote and facilitate elections to the CWCF.
The successful candidate will have at last 2 years experience of promoting public awareness and participation in development issues. They will be based at Time & Talents, a busy community centre in Rotherhithe.

This role includes evening and occassional weekend work

Person description

The post holder should have a basic knowledge of planning issues and an interest in community buildings and what gives a community a sense of place.
