£26,620
Full-time, 1 year fixed term
We’re looking for someone to support our Advice Centre Manager in delivering excellent and much-needed support to local people, through our Waterloo Foodbank, debt, benefits and immigration advice. Sadly, demand for our Advice Centre has again increased in the last year, so we’re looking to expand the team.
The successful applicant will continue the work to create and develop a drop-in Advice Centre at Oasis Hub Waterloo, as well as co-ordinate the delivery of the work done by our teams working on a range of diverse community projects such as our Foodbank and Debt Advice work. We’re passionate about working to reduce the need for emergency support, and as we move into a new phase of strategic development, we’re delighted to have been granted funding for this exciting role.
The work is demanding but immensely fulfilling. We are looking for someone with the passion and vision to enable us to help more people. Some of the duties of this newly-created role include:
Supporting development of our advice projects
Managing relationships with Foodbank referral partners and donors
Management and sourcing of food stocks and food collections
Recruitment, training and development of volunteers in a wide range of projects, ensuring all safeguarding checks are completed.
We actively encourage applications from people of all ethnic backgrounds and minority and underrepresented groups.
Completed applications should be returned by 9am, Wednesday 20th January 2021.
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 27th January 2021 (possibly online).
