About this role

Financial Administrator: to manage the daily running of the Festival’s accounts, and take responsibility for certain aspects of the organisation’s administration.

Main Responsibilities: To maintain full company accounts, dealing with both the Sales & Purchase ledger; preparation of VAT returns; regular cheque runs; establish and develop Festival database; service and minute Board and Finance Committee meetings; some general office administration.

Person description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Administrator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have good organisational skills and work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines. Must have experience of Sage Line 50/Word/Excel/Outlook, and ideally an interest in the arts.

The Thames Festival Trust produces the Mayor’s Thames Festival, London’s largest family-friendly arts festival which takes place over the middle weekend of September on and around the River Thames, between the London Eye and Tower Bridge.
