Bookkeeper (part-time - Bermondsey)

Bookkeeper required on a part-time (self-employed) basis, initially for 1 day per week based from our Bermondsey (SE1) office, with opportunity to grow.

The candidate will be working for an engineering technical consultancy, servicing the London insurance market, with a roster of international clients and suppliers.

The candidate must be highly experienced with strong working knowledge of current UK tax regulations and bookkeeping / accounting requirements, as well as being highly proficient in Xero.

Immediate start required.

With a strong track record in bookkeeping, the candidate will be:

1) Highly experienced, with strong working knowledge of current UK tax regulations and bookkeeping / accounting requirements.

2) Proficient in payroll RTI / pensions / credit control / VAT / bank postings / reconciliations / sales invoicing / payment runs and purchase invoicing.

3) Available to work 1 day a week (initially) from our Bermondsey office (Stanworth St, SE1).

4) Highly proficient using Xero.

5) Experienced in international and foreign currency transaction accounting.

6) Dynamic self-starter, able to work quickly and accurately, with exceptional attention to detail.

7) Have exceptional written and oral English language skills.
