Older Adults' Programme Lead Artist

London Bubble

0.5 (2.5 days per week); Fixed term contract from November 2022 for one year

About this role

We are looking for an experienced theatre practitioner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop our growing programme of work with older adults, combining practical theatre making with project management within a vibrant company committed to access and inclusion.

Support for this post comes from the London Borough of Southwark Culture Together Grants. The aim of this fund is to address representation and inequality within the cultural sector in Southwark. We are looking to employ an individual who represents the local community and with experience of diverse backgrounds, in order that Bubble's staff team reflects the diversity of our members.

About London Bubble

London Bubble Theatre frees people's creative voice to foster a more connected and equal society. We care about creativity, community and connection.

We currently run three key programmes for:

• Children including the award-winning Speech Bubbles for those with communication needs

• Young People including work with 18-30s and teenagers in the criminal justice and care systems

• Older Adults including work for people aged 55+ in sheltered housing and the Rotherhithe Shed.

This is an exciting time for the charity as we have recently completed an organisational re-design.
