About Time and Talents

Time & Talents is a lively, busy community centre in the heart of Rotherhithe, SE16. Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 135 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship, with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with volunteering and children and families’ projects.

Over the last five years, we have developed an extensive children and families programme, targeted at those living in poverty. Building on a strong track record, we intend to continue to expand its reach and ensure it is designed to meet local and changing needs, such as the impact of the cost-of-living crisis. Since the onset of the pandemic, we have been building a focused intergenerational offer including short-term projects led by specialists, which we plan to further embed into our overall programme of delivery. Alongside all of this, we offer a programme of activities for local adults including tai chi, yoga and a bridge club, as well as engaging the community through hired use of our venues.

We are building our offer whilst staying focused on our aims: ensuring that everyone feels part of a community and that no one is isolated or lonely. We are looking for a fresh pair of eyes to help us to scale up this work.
