Waterloo East new entrance: residents force Network Rail to rethink

Plans for a new entrance to Waterloo East Railway Station in Greet Street have gone back to the drawing board after pressure from local residents who said the "absurd" proposal would make their lives a misery.

Southwark pours green paint on Boris's blue cycle superhighway

On Tuesday Mayor of London Boris Johnson and transport secretary Lord Adonis took part in a bike ride to inspect the route of the 'cycle superhighway' that will include Elephant & Castle and Southwark Bridge.
