Tower Bridge lift plunge inquiry continues 21 months after incident

Nearly two years after 11 people were injured when the lift in the north tower of Tower Bridge fell to the ground an investigation into what went wrong is still under way.

Guy's Hospital accused of 'winding down' minor injuries unit

The London Green Party has called for normal opening hours to be restored at the Guy's Hospital minor injuries unit nearly a year after 'temporary' cuts to the service were introduced.

Dominic Dromgoole to stay at Shakespeare's Globe till 2014

Shakespeare's Globe artistic director Dominic Dromgoole has revealed that he has signed a new contract to remain at the Bankside theatre until the end of 2014.
