SE1 flower and vegetable show to celebrate Octavia Hill centenary

Bankside Open Spaces Trust is inviting SE1 residents to grow flowers and vegetables or make cakes and chutneys for a flower show in celebration of Octavia Hill a century after her death.

Giles Fraser welcomed to Elephant & Castle parish

Former St Paul's Cathedral canon chancellor Giles Fraser has been licensed as priest-in-charge of St Mary Newington - a parish which includes the Strata tower, the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre and part of the northern roundabout.

A parish council for Borough & Bankside?

Cathedrals ward councillor Adele Morris has launched a campaign to create a new parish council for Borough & Bankside to fill the void left by the merger of the area's community council with the three wards of Walworth.
