Young SE1 composer turns Tower Bridge into musical instrument
Tower Bridge played to a capacity audience on Sunday night as more than 500 people came to hear the premiere of Samuel Bordoli's 'Live Music Sculpture' on the high-level walkways that span the Thames.
Volunteer stewards wanted for Southwark leg of Olympic Torch Relay
The Olympic torch relay will pass through SE1 on Thursday 26 July and Southwark Council has put out a call for up to 100 volunteer stewards to come forward to help ensure the event runs smoothly.
