Armed police spent three hours outside a block of flats in Waterloo on Friday morning after a balcony collapsed.

Fire brigade don't believe anyone was injured in balcony collapse but due to armed siege they can't get near to check.

Fire brigade tell us they were called to Charing House just before 9.30. 3rd floor balcony collapsed onto balconies below.
