SE1 restaurants and hotels are finding it harder to recruit staff since Britain voted to leave the European Union and businesses are putting off decisions due to political and economic uncertainty, business representatives told councillors this week.

Southwark Council is forming a 'multidisciplinary team' to tackle to problems caused by buskers on Bankside this summer, as local residents press the authority to take action on their complaints of noise nuisance.
