Free guided walks
Sunday 21 February is International Tourist Guide Day and the Southwark-based Guild of Registered Tourist Guides will be giving free guided tours of historic Southwark all day from 10am to 3pm.
The guides will be in costume and wearing their famous Blue Badges at London Bridge Underground Station where parties will leave every 30 minutes.
Guild House in Borough High Street is the headquarters of the qualified guides UK professional association.
All members are trained and sit exams to guide in certain counties or parts of the capital city such as the Palace of Westminster.
