Cathedral fully booked for debate with Winston and Harries

The second public debate in the Medicine & Humanity series organised by King's College London at Southwark Cathedral has been fully booked. On Thursday 9 March Lord Winston, Professor of Fertility Studies, University of London, and Bishop of Oxford Rt Revd Richard Harries, a familiar voice to Thought for the Day listeners, will debate the meaning of 'Staying human'. Short talks by the panellists are followed by a Question Time-style debate covering bio-engineering issues including cloning and genetic engineering.

The third debate, on 'Personal freedom and public health', will take place on Thursday 13 April at 5.30pm. Tickets may be obtained free of charge by calling 020 8659 2318.
