Senior Citizens get free entry to IWM

Senior citizens can now get free entry to the Imperial War Museum as part of a government initiative to make Britain's national museums more accessible. Admission charges for children at many museums, including the IWM and HMS Belfast, were abolished last April. Until 1 April it cost £4.20 for a senior citizen to visit the IWM.

Arts Minister Alan Howarth said: "the Government is determined to make the best of our culture and heritage freely available to the greatest possible number."
